Calculate your NET aggregate with Matric, FSc, O Level or A Level results.
Example: 80% Matric, 90% Inter and 150/200 NET give an aggregate of 77.75%.
NUST merit criteriaIf you have an IBCC equivalence certificate, select “IBCC equivalence” and enter its percentage. Use the SSC certificate for O Levels and the HSSC certificate for A Levels.
Without a certificate, select “Enter subjects and grades” for a planning estimate. O Level equivalence averages 8 grades. A Level equivalence averages 5 compulsory O Level grades and 3 A Level grades. Choose your exam year because A* conversion marks can vary by subject and year.
For O Level certificate with A Level grades, add the five compulsory O Level grades and the O Level exam year. For Matric with completed A Levels, enter Matric marks and IBCC HSSC equivalence. While A Level results are pending, A Level fields stay hidden.
O Level equivalence averages 8 grades. A Level equivalence averages English, Mathematics, Urdu, Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies plus 3 A Level subjects.
Grade estimates use the five-compulsory-O-Level plus three-A-Level formula. Earlier cohorts or exemptions may follow different IBCC rules; use your certificate for an official result.
IBCC’s February 2026 notice describes this approach for students completing O Levels in 2026 and A Levels afterward.
Read the IBCC notice (PDF)Select Matric, A Levels and “Not yet”. Your aggregate uses 25% Matric and 75% NET.
NUST requires at least 60% in SSC and HSSC, or their equivalent qualifications. Program subject requirements also apply.
Merit positions differ by test series. The result uses cleaned 2026 records, and the list view compares your estimate with each program’s 2026 closing position for lists 1 to 14. Treat both as guidance, not an official position or an admission promise.
