NUST H-12 campus has extensive sports facilities: cricket and football grounds, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts, squash courts, a swimming pool, a central gymnasium plus hostel gyms, a small hiking trail, a race course track, and a horse riding club. CEME has 3 tennis courts, basketball, squash, badminton, football, cricket, and a swimming pool. MCS, CAE, and other campuses also have sports facilities. NUST has a dedicated Sports Club that organizes tournaments.
Sports at NUST H-12 Campus
NUST H-12 has multiple cricket grounds and football fields maintained for student use. There are volleyball courts, basketball courts, and tennis courts. Squash courts and a swimming pool are available. A central gymnasium near the sports complex plus smaller gyms in each hostel provide fitness facilities. A hockey stadium and more tennis courts are under construction.
Hiking Trail and Horse Riding
NUST opened a small hiking trail on the H-12 campus in 2017 to promote physical well-being. A race course track and horse riding club were also added recently. The trail winds through the campus's natural terrain and is popular among students.
Sports at Other Campuses
CEME Rawalpindi: three tennis courts, basketball, squash, badminton, football, cricket, swimming pool, and two gymnasiums. MCS Rawalpindi: standard sports facilities on its 50-acre campus. CAE Risalpur: table tennis, badminton, basketball, tennis, volleyball, football, hockey, swimming, golf, and cricket. PNEC Karachi: sports facilities plus a unique Deep Sea Diving and Sailing Club.
Inter-College and Inter-Hostel Tournaments
NUST organizes regular inter-college and inter-hostel sports tournaments. The Sports Club at NUST coordinates these events. Tournaments include cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and athletics.
