BS Mathematics at NUST SNS provides a rigorous foundation in both pure and applied mathematics. The pure mathematics stream covers abstract algebra, real and complex analysis, topology, and number theory. The applied stream covers differential equations, numerical analysis, optimisation, fluid dynamics, and mathematical modelling. Students can choose electives based on their career interests.

Data Science Pathway

Mathematics graduates have the strongest quantitative foundation for data science careers. SNS offers an MS in Statistics with Data Science at the postgraduate level. Many mathematics graduates work as data analysts and data scientists after learning Python, SQL, and machine learning — skills that build naturally on a math background.
