NUST H-12 campus has 18 hostels — 8 for male students (Ghazali, Beruni, Razi, Rahmat, Attar, Liaquat, Hajveri, Zakariya) and 10 for female students (Fatima Blocks I-V, Zainab, Ayesha, Khadija, Amna). Hostel rooms are available in single, double, and triple occupancy with attached or community bathrooms. Ghazali, Beruni, Razi, and Rahmat are for undergraduate students. All hostels are located within the H-12 campus and are close to academic buildings.

Ayesha Hostel — undergraduate students. Khadija Hostel — undergraduate students. Amna Hostel — undergraduate students. Note: For Fall 2025 onward, national UG students in 1st to 3rd semester are allocated tri-seater accommodation in hostels.
Hostel accommodation is strictly allotted according to the application seniority list. Only students registered for statutory courses at the Islamabad campus are eligible. Newly enrolled students apply online through the NUST website (ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk for UG, nust.edu.pk for PG). Continuing students apply through their Qalam account. After approval, a six-month hostel fee challan and security deposit challan are issued. The student must pay before joining and submit the receipt to the Hostel Manager. A NUST Hostel Rules Awareness Certificate must also be signed and submitted.
