About AKU
Aga Khan University has indicated that it is likely to adopt UCAT for 2027, but the format is not confirmed. Its 2026 sample had 100 MCQs in two hours: 40 Science Achievement and 60 Science and Mathematics Reasoning questions. Science Achievement deducted 0.25 per wrong answer; Reasoning had no negative marking.
For the 2026-27 cycle, applicants took the AKU test except eligible overseas graduates using the AAMC MCAT route. A valid MDCAT result was also required. Our free 100-question mock offers science and reasoning practice in two hours, with answer explanations. Choose your 2027 preparation course once AKU confirms the admission format.
