About NAT

The NAT (National Aptitude Test) is the NTS aptitude test for admission to NTS-associated universities and degree awarding institutes. NTS publishes separate NAT paper patterns for 12-year and 14-year qualifications: Category One holds six papers for 12 years of education (NAT-IE, NAT-IM, NAT-IA, NAT-ICS, NAT-IGS, NAT-ICOM), each with 90 questions in 120 minutes split as 20 English, 20 Analytical, 20 Quantitative, and 30 Subject. Category Two holds five papers for 14 years of education (NAT-IIA, NAT-IIB, NAT-IIM, NAT-IIP, NAT-IIO), each with 100 questions in 120 minutes and splits that differ by type. The result stays valid for one year, and one test covers the associated universities in your subject group.

NAT scores are accepted by associated universities including COMSATS, IST and participating FAST programmes. Each programme sets its own eligibility, accepted NAT category and merit weights. Start with our syllabus tables, then attempt the worked sample questions before reading their solutions.
