What Is CEME?

CEME (College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering) is located on Grand Trunk Road in Rawalpindi. It was established in 1957 as the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers School in Quetta for training Pakistan Army's EME Corps. It moved to Rawalpindi in 1984. CEME is the largest military constituent college of NUST with 2,400+ enrolled students and 122 faculty members.

Undergraduate Programs at CEME

BE Mechanical Engineering covers thermodynamics, machine design, manufacturing, and materials. BE Electrical Engineering covers power systems, electronics, control systems, and telecommunications. BE Mechatronics Engineering is unique to CEME — it combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering for robotics and automation. BE Computer Engineering covers digital systems, embedded systems, and computer architecture.

CEME Campus Life and Facilities

The CEME campus has on-campus hostel accommodation, mess facilities, an auditorium, and a computerized library with 70,000 volumes. Sports facilities include 3 tennis courts, a basketball court, a squash court, a badminton court, a football ground, a cricket pitch, a swimming pool, and 2 gymnasiums.

CEME Fee and Hostel

Tuition at CEME is PKR 197,050/semester. Hostel and mess charges are separate and available on the CEME website. Hostel accommodation is available for both male and female students.
